Music
Synthesis, Keyboards, and Electroacoustic Noise and Effects.
I'm a classically-trained composer specializing in electroacoustic music and soundscapes, and a recipient of the 2009 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award. As a writer and performer, I'm adept at shifting between styles to fit a project, recently including a jazz score for an unreleased videogame and background music for a series of bible camp videos. I'm most at home exploring the boundaries of tonality, and am heavily influenced by 70's electronic soundtracks, 80's synthpop, New York minimalism, and good songwriting.
I play rock accordion with The Adorabulls on weekends, covering most horn, keyboard, string, and solo guitar parts on Accordion for music covering multiple decades and genres.
